| Ahahaha! I've just locked my old "WIP" topic on GOM, because I have completely had it with GTA imports... It seemed that every model had tooooo many triangles, and I just got fed up with them, so I decided to ditch ALL of the models I had! Saves me 264.23mb on my harddrive The downside is, that some of the things I did model myself got thrashed as well.. So: since Raxat gave me a chance to do some stuff for 2.3.1, I've gotten used to the 3dsmax program a bit more, and I've started on a new car. Yes, it will (eventually) be for SLRR, but that will be loooooooong from now. Before I show the pic with 1st progress (approx. 30 mins of work) I'd like to give a shout-out to Matu, Storm, Ivan, Punkguy and of course RAXAT for the inspiration to do this OK: 1st pic: and at 75% completion: | |

| I've had it tho with modeling for today:) So, here's my progress so far: I haven't kept it low poly;) the front cowling has around 800 and the rear cover 248... and I yet have to model the rest of the car... oh well, I got a reasonably fast pc, so having this car in-game won't be a problem I guess! | |

| ahahaha, small update: I know: this is just like 1/4 of the total rear cover... The side has to be modeled and attached to the "bumper" I now have, and then there's the issue called lights that have to get done. I'm kinda sick atm, so I don't have the energy to sit behind my pc all the time, so I guess the next update won't be here untill after the weekend. | |

| Sorry to hear you're ill. Hope it doesn't include explosive diarrhea, I'd hate to think you'd sh*t in your seat while at your comp. Get well soon, man.
Excellent work so far. Looks very good. Keep it up! | |

| Thanks Jag!!! OK, time for some updates, yay!!! I've put it ingame, just to see how the scaling was. I know, the car's faaaaaar from finished, but rather I see errors now, than when I'm finished! SO: the first time I saw the model, I was dissappointed as FOOK! I saw that the blueprints were everything but perfect:( The front cover was too high and blunt, whereas the original is low and sharp. That meant that it was back to 3dsmax for me! I've done a quicky on the cover, so the pics you're about to see are nowhere near perfect! My goal with getting it ingame, was to see how bad the mesh errors would show. Once that was clear, I ca focus myself on meshrepair on the parts I have now. My idea is to perfect the parts I have at the moment, before I start creating new parts! If I don't, I feel that the overall quality will be severely compromised! As for me, I don't care how long it's gonna take to get ingame, as long as it's gonna be a high quality model that I can be prowd of! OK, enough talk, let's show some pics!! | |

| I admire your dedication to quality. I've seen alot of other cars that were far from perfect, and the creator either simply didn't care how bad it looked, or didn't see it.
Your approach is an excellent idea, why finish the model, then have to fix nearly everything on the car because one part was off? Fixing errors before you get it finished makes perfect sense.
Keep it up!! | |

| ahahahaha! Finally time for an update, yay! I must admit that I've completely had it with 3dsmax this last week, because I wasn't feeling that well... Ah well, as things dtand now, the front cowling is almost done, I'm happy with the basic shape of the thing, and the inside is also well under way. Also, the front quarter panels have been made, but they're about 30% done, so please don't mind how they look! The rear bumper area has gotten some needed details, but I'm not at all happy with the sides, and therefore the complete look of the rear area: TOO MANY BUMPS! Just for starters, the engine and battery have been scripted to the rear of the car, but are not completely in place! Now for some pics: | |
